Maria Chernin Deckel

Attorney Maria Chernin Deckel holds an LL.B (Bachelor of Laws) degree from the University of Haifa and has been a member of the Israel Bar Association since 2017. During her studies, Maria participated in the Legal Feminism Clinic and volunteered as a mentor for first-year students.
Maria specialized in the Planning and Building Department of the Legal Bureau of the Netanya Municipality.
After her certification, she worked at a long-established law firm specializing in civil law and enforcement.
Since joining our firm, Maria primarily deals with immigration to Israel, visas, family reunification, aliyah, humanitarian status applications, and more.
Maria immigrated to Israel with her family at the age of 6 and is personally familiar with the challenges and complexities involved in moving to a foreign country. The field of immigration has always been dear to her and working in this area represents a mission for her.
Additionally, in the past year, Maria began volunteering with HIAS (an international organization that assists immigrants and refugees), providing pro bono legal representation to asylum seekers.
